Position Overview:
Orbitor IT Solutions is on the hunt for a Senior WordPress Developer who’s a pro at crafting exceptional websites and delivering top-notch solutions!
--Prioritize troubleshooting skills for website issues, debugging WordPress websites, resolving plugin and theme conflicts.
--Highlight front-end development expertise with CSS, JavaScript, and HTML/Bootstrap for responsive and visually appealing websites.
--Emphasize proficiency in customizing WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.
--Showcase experience in implementing custom page designs using Elementor and other page builders.
--Demonstrate knowledge of ACF Pro for setting up custom fields/post types and solving UI challenges.
--Mention familiarity with security principles, GDPR, and experience in handling personal data protection.
--Highlight experience in converting designs from PSD/Figma/XD into functional WordPress websites.
--Reference experience with debugging tools like Chrome Inspector and Firebug, and understanding of WordPress Core Files.
--Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites, including custom themes and plugins.
--Manage cPanel accounts, including setting up and configuring domains, email accounts, databases, and security settings.
--Optimize website performance through cPanel, including caching, backups, and other server-side optimizations.
--Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress and cPanel environments.
--Ensure website security and implement best practices for data protection.

Requirements
--BS degree in computer science; or related fields
--A minimum of 2 years of experience with WordPress
--At least 2 years of development experience using HTML, CSS3, JQuery and responsive UI frameworks like Foundation, Bootstrap etc.
--Proficiency in using various page builder plugins such as Elementor, Divi builder, Beaver Builder etc.
--Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress projects.
--Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
--Experience in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
--Good written and oral communication skills.
--Analytical and problem-solving skills are needed to manage concurrent projects.
--Ability to prioritize and manage tasks to effectively and efficiently complete work responsibilities of self and others.
--Understanding of SEO and function principles of search engines; Bing, Google, and Yahoo.
--Basic familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
--Assiduity in performing long-term tasks of the same type.
--Ability to communicate well, giving proactive feedback to peers and team.
--Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot for website issues and bugs, brainstorm options and provide solutions.
• Work on the front-end development tasks, including website maintenance, plugin updates, CSS improvements, and post creation
• Implement custom page designs using different page builders.
• Working with third-party Elementor addons such as Crocoblocks to create functional websites.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, and HTML/Bootstrap.
• Working Knowledge to set up custom fields/post types.
• Solve different UI challenges like browser compatibilities issues, different resolutions etc.
• Optimizing the speed of the websites.
• Converting PSD/Figma/XD designs into WordPress website.
• Implementing responsive design principles to ensure sites are mobile-friendly.
• Collaborating with designers to turn design mockups into functional websites.
• Experience in debugging WordPress websites’ issues, plugin conflicts, theme conflicts and keeping website up and running after updates.
• Experience with managing different web hosting servers.
• Experience in working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Should have a good understanding of WordPress Core Files and how it works.

Qualifications
